We open up our farm to the public for visits from Middle December to the first week of April on Weekends only. Come and stroll through 5 hectares of 50 000 flowering Dahlias, 4000 Hydrangeas and many other variety of flowers in full bloom. It is an experience you do not want to miss!
Come and stroll through our gardens, buy fresh flowers from the farm and enjoy light eats, cake and coffee under our old Pin Oak trees.
Entry is R70 for adults and R40 for kids - you receive a complimentary packet of seed upon entrance worth R65.
Snapscan and credit card facilities available.
All covid protocols are in place.
Time: 8am to 12:30pm for flower sales and coffeeshop, the kitchen at the coffee shop closes at 12:30pm but you are welcome to walk around until late. We encourage people to come as early as possible - it gets very hot in the summer under the nets and coming
early means you will enjoy a cool morning walk.
What to bring: A hat, flat closed shoes and a bucket for your purchased flowers.
Dogs – We welcome well behaved dogs on a leash.

Directions from Cape Town: we are 90 minutes drive from Cape Town.
Drive to Wellington, take the R46 and drive 35 mins until you see the first Wolseley turn off. Take the turnoff to the right and drive 7km until you see a green sign on your left that reads Platvlei, Speanvlei, Tweespruit, Adenes Farm Flowers. Turn left and follow the tarred farm road for 2km till you see Platvlei/Orchard Stay's Gate. Enter and Park on the Lawn.
The more scenic route is through Slanghoek Valley on the N1 through the Hugenote Tunnel.
