SPECIAL - Magical Hydrangea Greenfire: 4 Plants X 17cm

Garden hydrangea Magical Greenfire has a flame-shaped design on the petals in fiery red and green. The colours become warmer, until they become autumnal green.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Dormant Hydrangeas will be sent between August 21 and September 21.

As a deciduous shrub, Hydrangeas lose their foliage and go dormant in winter. Unless you have pruned your Hydrangea bush back before the cold weather hits, a Hydrangea bush in winter sports multiple stalks of varying heights, all bare, it does not die fully to the ground.

Top Tips
How much water should I give my Magical hydrangea?
Water Magical hydrangea regularly especially during warm periods, for hydrangeas in a pot as well as in the ground. It is best to give your hydrangea plenty of water a few days a week, rather than a little every day. Drip irrigation is best to prevent the foliage from becoming wet. Alternatively, try and irrigate your plants in the morning or early afternoon to give them time to dry off before the night. Plants going wet into the night are more susceptible to diseases.

How to fertilize your hydrangeas?
• Organic fertilizer: Tru Grower-feed – order online from www.adeneflowers.co.za
• Starke Ayres Hydrangea Food 500g – order online from Takealot.
• Best time to fertilize is at the start of the growing season in September. You can fertilise 3-4 times during the flowering season. Doing this will help the hydrangea to grow into a healthy, uniformly growing, and flowering plant.
