Special Instructions for Saturday Blooms:
For weekend events, we recommend placing your order for delivery two to four days prior to your event date. We take pride in sending you our peonies in tight, closed buds to ensure their freshness and longevity.
If you wish to have your peonies in full bloom for a Saturday event, we kindly ask that you place your order at least four days in advance to allow ample time for them to open. To prolong their beauty, we recommend keeping them in a cold room or a cool area.
Customer Responsibility for Bloom Preference:
It is important for you to advise us in advance whether you prefer to receive the flowers as closed buds or open. Please note that our peonies will be delivered in a closed ball form, ensuring that they reach you in prime condition.
Advantages of Sending Peonies Dry:
To maintain their integrity during transit, we employ a specialized dry shipping method. This approach not only safeguards the blooms but also extends their vase life upon arrival.
Preservation of Freshness: Shipping peonies in a dry state allows us to preserve their natural beauty and vitality. By minimizing exposure to moisture, we safeguard the integrity of the blooms, ensuring they arrive in optimal condition.
Extended Vase Life: Our dry shipping method is designed to prolong the vase life of your peonies. When properly rehydrated upon receipt, these blooms will flourish and maintain their charm for an extended period.
Caring for Your Closed Bud Peonies:
Upon receiving your peonies, follow these steps to encourage them to open up and flourish:
Trim the Stems: Cut a small portion (at least 2cm) off the tips of the stems at a slight angle. This allows for better water absorption and helps the buds start opening.
Place in Water: Submerge the trimmed stems in a clean vase filled with fresh water. Ensure that no leaves are submerged.
Optimal Conditions: Keep the vase in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and drafts.
o SELECT THE DAY OF THE WEEK YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR ORDER TO BE DELIVERED. TUESDAY, THURSDAY OR FRIDAY FOR THE TWO-WEEK CYCLE AS PER THE DATES INDICATED.
o BASKET NEEDS TO BE TO THE VALUE OF R1000 FOR DELIVERY OPTIONS.
o YOU CAN MIX CUT FLOWERS AND DRIED GOODS TOGETHER IN YOUR BASKET (NOT COMMERCE AND SEEDS).
o ENSURE THAT YOUR ITEM IS FOR THE SAME DAY DELIVERY AS THE REST OF YOUR ITEMS IN THE BASKET.
o WHEN YOU CHECK OUT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SELECT YOUR COLLECTION POINT, THAT YOU WILL COLLECT ON THE DAY YOU HAVE INDICATED. ALL ORDERS WILL BE DROPPED AT THE COLLECTION POINT OF YOUR CHOICE WHICH YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SELECT AT CHECK OUT.
o YOU WILL RECEIVE AN ORDER SUMMARY AFTER YOU HAVE CHECKED OUT YOUR CART – VIA EMAIL.
o ON THE MORNING OF DELIVERY, YOU WILL RECEIVE A WHATSAPP INDICATING THAT YOUR ORDER WILL BE READY FOR COLLECTION AS WELL AS RELEVANT FLIGHT DETAILS OF FLYING ORDERS.
o INVOICE WILL BE SHARED VIA EMAIL & WHATSAPP, YOU CAN KINDLY EFT WITH NAME AND *INVOICE NUMBER* AS REFERENCE, PRIOR TO COLLECTING YOUR FLOWERS.
o WE WILL SEND OUT A WHATSAPP MESSAGE AS SOON AS THE TRUCK IS READY TO LEAVE THE FARM.
o ETA FOR YOUR COLLECTION POINT WILL THEN BE COMMUNICATED TO YOU.
